Nestling in an elevated position, this three-bedroom Longhouse looks south towards the beautiful coastline of Cardigan Bay with the river Erch meandering through the woodlands below. Wander down to the river and catch yourself a brown trout – fishing permits are available locally. Part of a traditional Welsh Longhouse, the cottage is unashamedly rustic with its cosy Rayburn to keep you toasty if you visit in the winter.  The slated hall leads into the good-sized living room with two squashy sofas and woodburning fire.  The spacious kitchen, with farmhouse table, is well equipped with electric oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, fridge and freezer.

Flooded with natural light, the master bedroom is downstairs with a large double bed, antique furnishings and, of course, soft Welsh Blankets. There is an adjoining wet room with heated floor.  Upstairs is the twin room with antique brass beds, and a further bedroom (under the beams) with three single beds. No fighting over the views as they all have them.

French doors lead onto the large, grassy country garden with table and chairs for al-fresco dining.

This is the gateway to enjoy the very best that this glorious area has to offer. The mountains of Snowdonia; the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways; Glorious Castles; Walking, Sailing and Fishing.  With the beaches at Llanbedrog (with its row of colourful beach huts) and Pwllheli only minutes away and chic Abersoch with its trendy shops, marina and gastro pubs just ½ hour away, you won’t have to venture very far…..and then it’s back home to our Longhouse to relax with a glass of wine.
