The Olive Mill - wonderful country home surrounded by private woodlands in a stunningly beautiful region of Andalucia.
Built in 1890, the glorious Olive Mill nestles in the middle of its own forest with oak, chestnut and cork trees close to the pretty Andalucian town of Higuera de la Sierra. Inside you will find a spacious living room with original beamed ceilings……..a large farmhouse kitchen where you can cook up a storm and 7 bedrooms (all with en-suite bathrooms). Outside, your large private pool is surrounded by Mediterranean Pine trees which give natural shade….. You will feel very peaceful here .
Dating back to the late 1800’s, The gloriously renovated Olive Mill must have stories to tell…………..if only walls could talk.! This beautiful home will wrap you into its embrace and share its secrets with you.
The stunning entrance hall with high ceilings leads into the spacious living room with wooden beams, squashy sofas and breathtaking views across the gardens. The farmhouse kitchen is well equipped with everything that you could possibly need – pick your herbs from the garden. The seven bedrooms (all en-suite) are all individually designed and super comfortable – each has their own charm. Fluffy towels and organic toiletries are provided with you in mind. But, the piece de resistance is the fabulous hall with the original olive press – brick arches hold up the original wooden beams – the huge shutters flood the room with light and a friendly Buddah looks over you. This is where you can enjoy yoga whilst staying with us (at an additional cost).
Outside are beautiful gardens which change across the seasons……meet our friendly llamas. There are hidden corners where you can snooze with a book. Pretty sun loungers surround your private pool which is shaded by Mediterranean pine trees. Let us spoil you.
Although only an hour from Seville you will be in a different world where the pace is slow and food local. The Olive Mill nestles in the Sierra de Aracena Natural Park in an extraordinary beautiful landscape. Your nearest town is the achingly pretty Higuera de la Sierra with its whitewashed houses and pretty Church - you have a choice of excellent restaurants. Aracena with it's splendid castle and Gruta de las Maravillas is only 20 minutes away...........and then back to the peace and solitude of your wonderful holiday home.
