This delightful, three bedroom white cottage nestles in a rural landscape with breathtaking views across the gardens and surrounding hills. The eco-friendly Cotswold wood fired hot tub is ready for your visit. You will be able to fish at a nominal cost whilst staying with us.
The farmhouse kitchen, with its slate floor and pale grey painted units, has everything that you could possibly need. The conservatory, with original slate floor, is now your dining room which leads into the gardens.
The stylish living room with double height ceilings has squishy sofa, armchairs to sink into and an antique ottoman. Delightful kilims ,carefully chosen paintings and wall hangings and clever lighting complete its charm. A corridor leads to the 3 bedrooms – Bedroom One has a Queen size bed which snuggles under the painted 19th Century lintel and an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom Two with pale pink walls has a delightful antique cast iron double bed and Bedroom Three has full size bunk beds and is perfect for either adults or children. These two bedrooms share the family bathroom. Each room offers its own individual character. No fighting for the views as all the rooms have them!
But.....the star of the show is the location ... and the outlook. French windows lead from the conservatory onto the flagged patio with smart garden furniture - perfect for lazy breakfasts or a BBQ in the summer. The wood fired eco-friendly hot tub is a new addition. The gardens have been lovingly tended – wander into the surrounding woodlands, kick a ball around or just enjoy the seclusion. To the back of the house a few steps lead up to our secret garden and the lake – the views across the mountains towards nearby Porthmadog are spectacular. You can walk towards Black Rock Sands without meeting a soul. Whether you are looking for a romantic retreat or a peaceful family holiday, we can promise you that it will be love at first sight.
