About the Olive Mill
Tucked away in Southern Spain's Sierra de Aracena Natural Park, The Olive Mill is a beautifully restored 19th Century Estate - a timeless retreat nestled within a Parque Natural, less than an hour from Seville. Surrounded by ancient oak and chestnut forests, it offers a serene escape where local food and a slow pace of life reign. Yoga classes are held either amidst the magnificent gardens, under the shade of the chestnut trees, or in the grand hall, still imbued with the scent of pressed olives. With towering brick arches and original wooden beams, a giant antique Buddha watches over you. The interiors are warm and welcoming with squashy sofas, lush plants and carefully chosen artwork. Guests can also meet and walk with the resident rescue donkeys through our private forest to a picnic under the trees.
Guests stay in seven luxury bedrooms each with scenic views (5 upstairs and 2 on the ground floor). each room offers either twin beds or can zip together to make a king. You will meet our menagerie of animals including donkeys, goats, horses, llamas, chickens and peacocks. This is nature at its very best. Outside is a good size private pool and a wood fired hot tub for spring and autumn stays with us.
