The Manoir is a majestic, 19th Century, 6 bedroom Manor House set among extensive gardens, olive groves and orchards in the unspoiled Eastern Algarve. Outside you will find a full-size pool (which can be heated out of season), lawned gardens and hidden corners where you can snooze with a book. Inside you will find high beamed ceilings, masses of space, lovingly collected art and fine pieces of furniture. The large dining room will be set for your arrival (you can hire a private chef at a very reasonable rate) with a great welcome pack of local produce.

 

Three bedrooms (and two bathrooms) are on the ground floor with three more bedrooms (each with en-suite bathroom)  upstairs under the eaves. Egyptian cotton bedding and pretty occasional furniture add to the charm.  The Manoir is a much loved family home which will wrap you into it’s embrace.  You will feel very peaceful  here whilst only being a short drive to many sandy beaches…

But, the star of the show has to be the gardens……..and the pool……….and the views……….and the seclusion. The outside areas are carefully tended by Manuel – with extensive lawns, olive, avocado and carob trees, vines, citrus and vegetables. Help yourselves to a lemon for your gin and tonic.  The private pool, with poolside furniture, is 16m long – 1mtr deep at the shallow end and 2.35 at the deep end. Our three miniature goats love making friends with our guests!   We are now offering our guests the option to enjoy Quantam Shiatsu, Meridian Yoga, Meditation or Tai Chi whilst staying with us - our fabulous Yoga Shala looks across the olive groves towards the coast.

We have now finished the fabulous new Yoga Shala and are holding yoga and wellness retreats.  We can't imagine a nice setting to unwind in.....These will be tailor made for our guests.. contact me for further details.
